Mastopexy Augmentation (Uplift With Implants)
Mastopexy Augmentation is also recognised by the term breast uplift with implants. This means that the patient undergoes a breast lift to correct sagging breasts, as well as the placement of an implant to add or restore volume to the breast.
Sagging breasts can be caused by a number of factors including: weight loss, pregnancy / breastfeeding or ageing. When sagging breasts occur the patient will often also notice a loss in natural volume and therefore, a mastopexy augmentation may be considered the appropriate surgery to lift and reshape the breast.
Mastopexy Augmentation (Uplift With Implants) Procedure
The surgery is carried out by removing excess skin and tissue to lift the breast. The implant will then be placed to create volume and shape, and the nipple will also likely need to be repositioned to suit the newly elevated breast.
A mastopexy augmentation will involve an incision being made either around the areola (periareolar), and then vertically to meet the fold where the breast meets the chest (vertical) or vertically from the base of the areola to the crease and the horizontally across the crease beneath the breast (inverted T). The type of incision that is used will be determined by Miss Breahna depending on the amount of skin / tissue that needs to be removed.
According to the desired outcome, the size and placement of the implant will be discussed during your consultation, and you will be made aware of the expected final result.
Benefits Of Mastopexy Augmentation (Uplift With Implants)
Miss Breahna’s surgical skills enable a natural looking result to be achieved. Once the post-surgical swelling has subsided, the final outcome reveals breasts that have a fuller and perkier appearance. Lifting and reshaping the breasts can also create a more youthful look, having restored both volume and their original positioning on the chest. If the nipples have also been addressed, their shape and size will look improved and more in proportion with the appearance of the breasts.
Body confidence is an issue that many women can be affected by, especially as they get older and the body changes in appearance. Improving the shape and size of the breasts can play a big role in boosting a woman’s confidence, impacting positively on her emotional well-being.
